"The final curtain"

The host and Executive Producer of the day time TV talk show
"The Darren Austin Show" says goodbye to Day time TV as he prepares to tape
the Series Finale.
The Decision to end the show is solely based on Mr. Austin, We spoke to
Darren about the decision,
"I have had an amazing run with the show and the network but I think that
there comes a time when you have to know when to walk away. This is my
second season and it has been a huge blessing but I would like to walk away
while things are still fresh and hot. I want people to remember me for
having quality shows instead of tired drawn out shows"
Mr. Austin will take some time off for now , but don't count him out of the
game just yet, he will be no stranger to Television. Darren said "I was born
into TV and I will die in TV, I will be in another show sometime soon".
For the finale , Darren will be having a huge party with several local
people from the Charlotte Gay community come out and show there support and
help say goodbye.
The Series Finale episode will be called " I really did it my way" based on
the song "I did it my way" which is Darren's favorite song by Frank Sinatra.

The Song will be played in the finale episode with crew members, friends as
well as family.
>From the song lyrics of "I did it my way" Darren says in closing ,
"I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
"Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way"

Everyone wants the music to play on forever but it takes a smart man to know when to leave the dance floor. You are a very smart man, Darren

Now who will we nominate in this category for the Cybersocket Web Awards next year. This show is gone. Alytv is offline, looks like Jason Sechrest is the only one left. So maybe we will drop the category and just give a lifetime acheivement award for longevity?

If there are other industry oriented webcasts that feature gay and lesbian "stars" please let me know.

Hello! Don't forget my webcast show - Reel Guys! We were nominated in that category, too, and we're still here!

I've been working on the whole ReelGuys.org website and the re-design is almost done. Very soon you will be hearing about the re-launch - more movie reviewers, new webcast hosts, more searchability, etc.

BTW, ReelGuys is plugin content that webmasters can add to their site for free. Details at LavenderLounge.biz
