Online Marketing Director Cybersocket, Inc.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to work in the fast-paced world of multimedia publishing as well as Internet marketing. For more than a decade Cybersocket has been the go-to conglomerate for all GLBT print, online and communications services. We produce the nations largest freely distributed gay magazine, its online component - cybersocket.com, a leading review site and a suite of complimentary blogs and traffic tools.
Position:
Online Marketing Director
Our affiliate program is growing and we are looking for an experienced affiliate manager to help us grow.
Managers must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of staff including internal senior management, staff and external strategic business contacts.
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of affiliates
Manage and optimize existing affiliate partner relationships
Manage sales forecasts, deal term structures, and develop financial models to determine profitability of affiliates
Develop relationships to cultivate strategic alliances and ensure affiliate retention
Coordinate all affiliate communication, reporting, tracking, contracts, etc.
Aggressively grow affiliate program
Create new and maintain existing traffic partnerships utilizing our suite of traffic generating sites
Qualified candidates will have:
Team or project management experience
Solid understanding of online marketing principles
1 3 years of relevant work experience in affiliate marketing, online marketing, or account management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
Experience with a wide variety of distribution vehicles advertising, search, lead generation, affiliate marketing, etc
Must be fluent with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office programs and using Macintosh and PC platforms
Comfortable operating in a selling role
Comfort with adult imagery and some experience in the adult entertainment industry are preferred
Knowledge of MPA3 software a plus
Some college a plus
Some HTML skill a plus
