Hi, I would like to say hello. I'm new here at The Gay Board but have been around the block as they say. I wanted to know if any of you were interested in getting together in San Francisco for an informal get together. It could be a dinner or I could even host a party. My place is not huge but it's downtown and easy to get to. I don't know about you, but I could really use a little distraction right now and just have some fun Good Evil

Hey Socket2Jake,

It would be great if you could join us ! This is gonna be my first SF Pride as well. I guess that makes me a virgin too :p

Tentative plans are to have the get together at my place which is downtown. I really hope you can make it. I'll pm you with the information once as plans become finalized.

I believe but am not sure NakedSword is having a get together as well... I will let you know perhaps we can combine them? Stick Man

If you guys are interested, sure, we can combine things. Saturday after 6 pm (after the Pride celebration) would probably be the best time. 8pm sounds perfect. The location can be changed from my place to a larger setting if that's better.

We need a larger venue so were going with Cafe Flore at 6 pm on Saturday, June 25th, 2006. It's located on the corner of Market and 16th.

Didja see the Bel Ami boys up there, Jake? I shudder to think all the mischief you're getting in to up in SF while all alone, away from any other Cybersocket folk, and free to do as you please.

I happen to think that Jake does not get into any trouble unless I am around or some of the other loons in our industry.

And if you believe that I have a bridge to sell you.

Btw if no one knows how bad you were at any given place or time were you bad? I don't think so. I don't think it counts at all.

Exactly!! It's like the old saying...'if a tree falls in the middle of a deserted forest with no one to hear it, does it still make a sound?'

If a Jake gets into trouble in a fag-ridden ridden city of crazy people but no one is there to see it, does it count?

Hmm "a Jake", that's crazy by itself. Either way, since you made it home okay then the answer today is no :-)
