Well lets address that title issue first. Bitch is an epithet hard earned by many in our industry and usually it's applied to people because they are working hard and or successfull at something.

As to eating glass. I would also like to join Karl and Rob Novinger in eating glass over engaging in any more debates about rules etc. I for one find it way more fun to just sit and critique grammar and or hair styles.

Well... as someone whose job it is to communicate... I must agree. Banning people because you don't like thier point of view is counter-productive to what a group is about. There is a time and place for everything, including banning someone. but those instances are rare.

I moderate a local Yahoo group in Venice, I belong to several others, I subscribe to Tribe and Friendster and about 40 or so industry boards. Drama for the sake of drama is just bullshit. I prefer positive people who like to have fun and get things done. You can do both at the same time.

Hmm... I've never been banned at any of the places I care to post. But I've stopped contributing to a few. So I guess I banned myself. lol :p

I have remained quiet on the whole issue since it began for a few reasons, not the least of which is the need to minimize unnecessary drama in my life. Another is out of respect for Gary, whom I've always liked and who's biggest downfall, as far as I can tell, is loving someone who seems to so many others to be unloveable. But honestly, I'm not one to judge. I have certainly loved my share of unloveable people; men who were wrong for me, or bad to me...to a fault. We all make complete assholes of ourselves from time to time, as it should be. I love a good asshole every once in a while ;)

However, due to my original intent to minimize drama (hard to do here in Hollywood I've discovered) I'm not likely to post there either, nor do I wish to put up with Lee unnecessarily. Ok...fuck it...let me rant for just a bit:

Hey now. I wasn't trying to get banned. It was actually making a point. A thread essentially exactly the same as the one he'd posted, yet about him rather than someone else. And that if he took offense to the one I posted, it should cause him to pause and reconsider what he'd posted.

Sure it looked like nothing more and satire and an attempt to get banned, but it actually did have some real serious intent behind it.
