Hey guys,
Does anyone know a good attorney in the NYC area? In addition to "adult" work, I also do artistic nude photoshoots and last year did one with a model on Fire Island. After he posed willingly and signed the model release giving me full rights, he decided that the images he posed for were too "pornographic" and didn't want them circulated. To ease his concerns I told him that they wouldn't be considered porn or appropriate for a porn outlet, because the style was artistic, playful (and besides, he had no erection). My goal for the shots, as with my other artistic nudes, is to get them into some magazines that are non-porn and ultimately published in an art photography book. He agreed to that. Now, a year later, Playgirl Magazine decided to run an article about my ongoing project and included an image of this model, along with a few others. And now the model is furious. Given that he signed the original release form and that was never nullified, how much of a complaint can he have that one of the photos appeared in Playgirl, as part of a piece about my art project? Any advice (or suggestions about attorneys) would be most appreciated!
Thanks
